Halloween is my favorite holiday but it's also one of the busiest because my daughter's birthday is at the same time. Preparing Halloween costumes, Halloween activities at school, and birthday parties at home and at school. In America, families often bring cupcakes and goodie bags to school on their children's birthday to share with their classmates. We used to dress up our daughter in whatever we wanted but now that she's eight, she has her own ideas. So, for her school Halloween party and her birthday she got to wear the costume of her choice, which was Zombie Ballerina, and for trick-or-treating on Halloween night, she wore the costume that her father designed, which was Sansa Stark from a very popular HBO TV show in the States called "Game of Thrones." Her brother was Jon Snow. As long as we keep making cool costumes, I hope my kids will continue to let us dress them up for Halloween. ハロウィンは私の一番好きな祭事ですが娘の誕生日と重なるため一年で一番忙しい時期でもあります。 ハロウィンのコスチューム作り、学校のハロウィンイベントの準備、家と学校の誕生日会の準備でごった返します。 アメリカでは誕生日の子の両親がクラス全員のためにカップケーキとおもちゃが入った小袋（goodie bags)を学校に持っていきます。 今までは子供達のハロウィンの衣装を夫と私が決めていたのですが、８歳になった娘は自分で選びたいと言い出しました。 結果、娘は学校と自分の誕生日会の衣装はゾンビ・バレリーナになりました。ハロウィン当日のトリック・オ・トリートでは夫がデザインした衣装を着ました。 今年はHBOの人気テレビ番組「ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ」のサンサ姫でした。 息子は弟役のジョン・スノーでした。来年も子供達が着てもらえるように格好いい衣装を考えなければなりません。
