My husband decided to take a chance and make his dream come true. January of 2016, my husband decided he wanted to start his own video game company. He's been working in the industry for over 20 years and after building experience as a game designer for the past seven years, he has taken the jump to taking full control of his games. This past year has been challenging for him and for our whole family as he made preparations for creating his own company and find funding. I'm proud to announce that he has been successful so far and has started working on his first game with a development team in Melbourne, Australia, his business partner, as well as, myself. I will be helping out the team as the project manager, a similar position I had before leaving the workforce to raise a family. Our game has a comparatively short development schedule and we plan on completing it by Spring of 2018. It's an exciting time!

夫は去年大きなリスクを取って、自分の夢を実現する決意を固めました。 2016年1月に夫は自分のビデオゲーム会社を立上げました。 ゲーム業界には20年以上努めており、ここ7年はゲーム会社でゲームデザイナーとして努めてきましたが、 今回自分のゲーム会社を立ち上げるという大きなリスクを背負う決意をしました。 去年は立上げの準備や資金集めの為、夫と家族にとって難しい一年でした。 しかし、無事資金も集まり、ビジネスパートナーとオーストラリアのメルボルンにある開発会社とゲームを開発することになりました。 私も子育てを始める前にゲーム会社で努めていたので私もプロジェクト・マネージャーとして加わることになりました。 今回のゲームの開発期間は比較的短いので発売予定日は来年の春です。楽しみです！
