My husband's relatives in Japan sent us a kite over the winter break and the kids and I have been waiting anxiously for a nice sunny day to go fly a kite. Finally, the day came a couple weekends ago when we took a trip upstate to visit my in-laws. We found a nice open baseball field and let the kite go! Unfortunately, there wasn't too much of a wind so it was difficult to keep it in the air for too long. But, just long enough for my daughter to experience her first kite-flying experience. It brought back nice memories of when I used to go fly kites with my parents. 旦那の親戚が日本から凧を年末に送ってくれました。 子ども達と私は気候が良くなり、凧揚げが出来る日を首を長くして待っていました。 やっと２週間ほど前に義理の両親が住む田舎に遊びに行ったときにその日が訪れました。 広い球場を見つけて念願の凧揚げが出来ました！ 残念ながら風があまり強くなかったので長い間飛ばす事が出来なかったのですが、娘が初めて凧揚げを一人で飛ばす事が出来たので良かったです。 私も幼い頃両親と凧揚げにいった記憶がよみがえってきました。
